Talking with children

I managed to get D'mitri to talk to me a little today. He didn't say much but I think he said enough. He told me that his dad was a "bad man" but he and his mommy don't live with them anymore. That was who the oni mask was of because he's still scared of him. I promised that my daycare was a safe place and no bad men would ever hurt him here. He seemed happy about that and went to play with the other children. I'm glad.

On a completely unrelated note, I saw a bunch of foreigners down the street. They were talking to some people. the people didn't look very happy. Maybe they didn't speak the language...

I really don't think it's anything to be worried about. If I thought there was, I'd be certain to report it, as I'm legally bound to do.

Do you have a group that would be willing to talk to them sometime. I like having a lot of people from many different jobs visit. The kids loves it and love asking questions.
