Time with the family

zen_of_kabajiAfter Christmas and all the celebrating, it's nice to have time with my family just at home. I went to do my temple visit and pray for another good year just like the last.
I go back to my job on my birthday. It'll be the second best birthday present, the first being Ryou and Arashi. I look forward to hearing everyone tell me all about their little holiday. We'll wear the oni masks we made before we went on break and throw beans and have a lot of fun.
I'm getting a little worried. Before we left for break, when we made the oni masks, one of my kids, D'mitri made a mask too. But it wasn't an oni, it was a person. When I asked who it was, he looked really scared and said it was a "bad man". But he wouldn't tell me who the bad man was. He looks a little familiar though. I thought I saw him outside in the park that day. And the museum...I think it's just my imagination, but I am going to try to get D'mitri to talk to me a little more at school. I don't like it when my kids are scared.
