So, with October almost over, I thought it would be fun to teach the children in my daycare about Halloween and the different traditions around the world. Since I grew up in England with Keigo, I got to experience a different sort of celebration than a lot of other places. I think the children will have fun learning about all the different traditions and other places and people in the world. I want them to be interested in places outside of Japan as well as here where they live.
So, for the next week, we'll be doing all sorts of things. I'll be carving pumpkins and we'll have the seeds for a snack. I'll make some sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. We'll work on making special masks for everyone and on Halloween, I'll hand out candy to them before they leave for home.
I'm looking forward to it. Maybe I'll even wear a costume. I might let Arashi and Ryou chooseI'll end up a Jedi, but I don't mind
